This week I received messages from two different people (through Etsy and Storenvy) offering to make a review of my work. They splattered huge statics, like having millions of instagram followers, popularity, or having done it before and making people famous. Of course, their generosity was conditioned by me agreeing to send them some of my work for free. While I don't object the concept of reviewing someone's work, I worry that this has become a popular way of scamming artisan crafters to give away their work for free with promises of exposure and increasing their sales. I wanted to write this journal to tell everyone to be careful, specially if you're just starting your business and struggling to get noticed, it may sound tempting but you should never give away your hard work!
One of them was even more blunt and said that he could write a positive review of my work just byAttention, don't give away your work! by ^Talty

By chance, did you publish (a part of) your work? I'm looking to extend my collection of literature and poetry with some good books. I'd happily buy it if it was available.

Well, I don't live in the UK, so I don't have an idea of how the publishing process goes there but if you do a quick Google search on publishers in the UK, you'll find quite a few. Usually they have you pay a fee to do it, some publishers also do it for free, but keep a percentage of your earnings. Just ask them. All publishers will happily look at a selection of your poems if you mail them, and you can discuss details with them.

If you'd ask me, your poems are good enough. So no need to worry about that :3

(And sorry for my bad grammar, I'm not a native speaker of the English language ><)

Okay so I'm sending this to everyone

The idea as been going around that for change we should do changing life points, ie. childhood, teen years, adulthood, and elder. Each one would look back on the last and there are 4 of us.

The variation for this are:
Childhood looking back on nothing
The addition of death so childhood looking back is not needed
Using both and not having teenager

There are more we could use or we could go in a totally different direction.
Please go to MSN Thursday 7 or 8 GMT (3 or 4 East coast USA) So we can talk about this as a group.

I would like to call Adult/Teen just because I have to write something fitting that in the first place, but all this can be determined latter and I am flexible, in fact we could all pick the same and I don't think any one would care. (then again where is the fun in that?)
